Sven Nemet was born in Zagreb, 1977. He took A-levels at the Shool of Appliead Arts and Design; graduated from Academy of Arts in Zagreb in 2002. As a painter he exhibited his works in several one-man and group exhibitions. In 2003. he won First Prize of Gallery Paradiso at the art colony in Rab and Second Prize of Gallery Tenzor at the art colony in Ptuj, Slovenia. In 1998 he won the II Prize for the comics at the Exhibition "Crtani Romani Šou" in Zagreb. He runs a comics workshop for children in the International Centre for Cultural Service in Zagreb.
